Managing Multiple C Compilers

Hi,

Has anyone worked out a good way to manage multiple C Compiler installations?

I have CCS C, Microchips C and Mikro C......

Windows assignes file types to certain programs and .C and .H now go to Mikro C which is fine, but what do I do to look at CCS C programmes and even edit and recompile?

Also in Windows Explorer some files appear the same in the listing as "source" but can be .C or .H type!

Kev

Hi Kev. I only use now MikroC and C18 within MPLAB IDE but find no issues with working between the two.

Thanks Violin.

Perhaps I just have too many C's!

I did have once within MPLAB IDE not only C18 but also Hi-tech 16 with also MikroC along side MPLAB IDE and found no interactive issues between any of them.
